Vespula Sp. - yellowjacket nest apparently dug up by a foraging mammal, possibly a black bear. The opening is about 2 feet across and the depth of the dig nearly 3 feet. The combs picture are only a fraction of the ones scattered about. The nest no doubt had thousands of individuals. Lake May Reserve, Eustice Florida USA.
